A skateboard shop inspired by Rupaul
Who is Rupaul?
Rupaul is a very famous drag queen, he stars a TV show: "The Race to Drag". His character is very colorful and iconic.
Rupaul speaks in slang, in a humorous way and gives a lot of inspiration. It took him a long time to break through, it did not happen in a minute, and still he managed to raise awareness of drag. He knows how to separate the two worlds he lives in - his true self and the drag queen he is.
The concept
My concept is the transition between the real world and an imaginary one, like Rupaul's transition from his true self to the drag world.
UI design
I chose the colors pink, yellow and blue as they are very vivid colors, they contract each other but they still go together. I used big paint stains that simulate ramps - which show how dominant Rupaul is in the drag world.
